College football, steaks on the grill, knitting in front of the fire, finishing up a book before the year ends, and watching the ball drop while we kiss and toast with chilled champagne. Then I'll hurry to climb under the heated electric blanket for a good night's sleep. That pretty much summarizes our plans for ringing in the New Year. Tomorrow morning it's canned cinnamon rolls, lots of coffee and the long-standing tradition of watching the Rose Bowl Parade with CS.
