Who What When Where Why

Who? A team of 11, ranging in age from 26 - 70
Where - Aqua Escondido, Guatemala

What? Built a 20 x 15 cinder block house

Why? Erlinda, an abandoned mother and her four children needed a home

What we're doing for the next couple of days.
When? Last week. We got home around 1 am Sunday morning. In just a couple of days I'll share some of the photos and stories of our trip. Right now I'm thinking it's a bit like childbirth - the best thing I've ever done; the hardest thing I've ever done.

I can't wait to see your pics, and that photo of Dad is awesome. A copy for me, 4x6 to frame, maybe? :)

Welcome home & Happy Anniversary to you & Don!! Great pics here - am excited to read about your trip & see more pics. When I read the size of the home you build for Erlinda, well let me just say it made me feel so ashamed of thinking that Jer & I should move into a larger home. What a wonderful gift you & Don gave to her & her family! You truly have a heart of gold!
I bet it will take awhile for you to get back on schedule & make up for the lost sleep. How much Spanish did you need to speak?
Hugs,

I can't wait to hear more and see more pictures. It sounds amazing. Definitely something I would like to accomplish at some point in my life. I think that I am having a hard time of things right now, but how humbling to see how different it could be. I am sure Erlinda has immeasurable gratitude.

I also hope that you and Grandma have a blast on your road trip. It was really great spending Easter with her. It looks like you had a nice Easter with family too. Lots of blessings all around!
